What is a professional organizer?

A professional organizer is someone who comes into your home and helps you tackle the areas in your home that have become overwhelming to you.

They help you purge unwanted items into categories: consign, donate and keep. They push and encourage you through the hard decisions: “Do I need this item?  Is it being kept for sentimental reasons? Or because I spent money on this? Maybe I’ll need this one day?”

We have heard it all and our job is to guide you on making these hard decisions to get to the desired outcome, a space you can love again and use it the way it was intended to be used.

We label, categorize, create systems and a flow in your space that you can keep up on your own.  Refresh services are also included in what we do to get the space back to where we left it.

Not to be confused with cleaning ladies, which is a common misconception.  It is a very different skill set.  We will wipe down and vacuum out the cupboards and shelf before putting things back into systems, but our job is not to clean it is to organize, categories and work through your things with you.

Why hire a professional organizer?

The cost of clutter on one’s mental health s a real one. It can become so overwhelming to tackle a space that has built and built over time and just become too much to take on, on your own.

“Where would I even begin?” “I’ll do it later…” “I spent so much money on these items, I can’t get rid of them” “Maybe I’ll need them one day?”

The procrastinating goes on and on and nothing gets done. This can lead to shame and even more overwhelm. People’s homes are supposed to be their escape from the rest of the world - life is stressful enough, your home should not contribute to this.

We hold your hand through the process and ask you the hard questions to help you keep the items are actually need and love. We will put systems into place that are sustainable and work for the needs of your family.

What you will achieve after our service:

  • A huge stress relief
  • Pride in your home again
  • Better sleep
  • Time saved not looking for lost items.
  • Money saved for not rebuying the same item.
  • Not feeling embarrassed when company comes over unexpectedly.
  • Time with your family
  • The ease of using the spaces in home as intended.
  • A sense of calm and peace in your home
